Kimberly Gent: A Lifetime of Service, Innovation, and Justice
With over 30 years as an attorney, mediator, and advocate, Kimberly (Kim) Gent has dedicated her career to supporting families, empowering children, and expanding access to justice for underserved communities.
Too Many Families Face the Justice System Alone
Legal representation is out of reach for thousands of families. Approximately 80% of divorces happen without a lawyer. Often those who can afford an attorney are left to aimlessly go through the legal system without guidance. The difference between those individuals who can have and/or can afford legal representation compared to the growing number of individuals who do not have an/or cannot afford legal representation is called the "Justice Gap". This gap continues to grow making it more difficult to ensure "Justice for All" throughout our great country.
Kimberly Gent has spent her career closing that gap, developing innovative tools, education, and unbundled services so families have legal guidance and expertise when facing life-changing legal battles.
